Code Support

Stuck with a build someone else started? I'll pick it up, fix what's broken and tell you straight what's worth keeping.

Ask about code support
(the short version)

Picking up where someone else left off.

The developer went quiet. The agency moved on. Or the site just grew into something nobody fully understands, and now small changes take weeks and every fix breaks something else.

I'll take it on, find out what's actually going on, and tell you straight what's worth keeping, what needs fixing and what should be rebuilt. Then do the work.

Matt's worked across our entire brand portfolio for over two years. Last-minute jobs, unrealistic deadlines, early starts, late finishes. The quality's never dropped once.

Chris Johnson — Footasylum

Matt's changes made a real difference across the site. No lengthy briefs, no drawn-out revisions. Just the right call, made quickly.

Ross Taylor — Footasylum

We had nothing — no site, no brand presence online. I was particular about every detail, and Matt still delivered something better than what I asked for. The ongoing support means I can add services and make changes whenever I need to — always done quickly, always with a creative touch.

Sarah Bass — Lumina Funerals

(faqs)

Straight answers.

Do you work on sites you didn't build?

That's the whole point. Shopify, Framer, WordPress, Astro, Next.js and most custom builds.

What if the code's a mess?

Most are, a bit. You'll get an honest assessment of what's worth fixing and what's worth replacing.

How is code support priced?

£600 a day, or £350 for half a day, with each job scoped before the work starts. For regular work, Care & Maintenance from £125/month is usually better value.

Can you work alongside my existing developer?

Yes. Code reviews, a second pair of hands, or the jobs they don't have time for.

How quickly can you start?

Small jobs usually within a week or two. Every job gets a start date before you agree to anything.

Will I get access to the code?

You should already have it. If you don't, getting it back is usually the first job.
