I'm a Manchester-based senior developer who's built for some of the UK's biggest streetwear stores. mpskala is the same work for smaller businesses: Framer sites, Shopify stores and custom builds, done by the person you actually talk to.

Agencies hand you to an account manager, who hands you to a junior, who hands you a site three months late. I skip all of that. You talk to the person writing the code, from first message to launch.
I come from big ecommerce, where every change gets measured. At that scale a 1% shift in add-to-basket is real money, so I don't guess. That habit comes with every project, big or small.
Straight answers
Tell me what you need. I'll tell you if I can help, what it costs and how long it takes. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
Fixed prices
Every price is on the site. You get a fixed quote before anything starts, and it doesn't creep.
Measured, not guessed
Speed, search and sales are numbers. I check them before and after, so you know what the work actually did.
Yours to keep
You own the design and the code. Nothing's locked to me, so you can take it anywhere.

Tell me what you need
Fill in the form. No sales call, no 40-page proposal. You get a straight answer and a fixed price.

I build, you review
Half up front and the build starts. You review the work as it takes shape, with rounds of changes agreed in the quote.

Launch and hand over
The rest is due before launch. You get the site, the logins, and 30 days of support if anything breaks. Want me to keep it running after that? That's what care plans are for.
Where are you based?
Manchester. I work with businesses across the UK and abroad. Everything's done remotely, so where you are doesn't matter.
Is it just you?
Yes. One person, start to finish. The person you message is the person writing the code. If a project needs something I don't do, like photography, I'll say so before we start.
Why pick you over an agency?
You talk to the person doing the work. Prices are fixed and public. And you're not paying for an office, an account manager or a pitch deck.
Do I own the code and design once it's built?
Yes. Full ownership, no exceptions. Take it to another developer if you ever need to. Nothing's locked to me.
Which platforms do you build on?
Framer for business sites, Shopify for stores, and custom code when neither fits. I'll recommend the cheapest one that does the job.
What if I'm not happy?
Not happy within 7 days of kickoff? Full refund, as long as the first design hasn't been signed off.

Need something else? Just ask.
